Feedback from Companies
The success of any vocational mobility program hinges not only on student outcomes, but also on the experiences and evaluations of the companies that host them. Our Erasmus+ project was fortunate to collaborate with two highly respected industrial partners in Turkey — AB Market Otomasyon (specializing in PLC systems and industrial automation) and Istanbul Reklam Ürünleri (a leading CNC-based manufacturing and design company).
Both companies provided structured supervision, real project assignments, and invaluable mentorship. Their feedback reflects not only the students’ technical readiness but also their professional attitude, adaptability, and eagerness to learn.
Istanbul Reklam Ürünleri
CNC & Mechanical Engineering Host
“We were surprised at their motivation and basic knowledge. They adapted quickly to real workshop conditions and respected all safety protocols without constant supervision.”
— Lead CNC Supervisor, Istanbul Reklam
Observation:
Students arrived with a strong foundation in CAD/CAM software, which allowed them to move from simulation to real machine operations within just a few days.
Highlights:
- Interns operated both 3-axis and 5-axis machines under guidance.
- Students contributed to a client production batch using G-code they developed during the internship.
- Two interns improved setup time through their understanding of cutting tool configurations.
AB Market Otomasyon – PLC & Automation Host
“Your students were well-prepared and eager to learn. One intern built a full PLC sequence for a conveyor system — and we’re actually using it in live production today.”
— Senior PLC Mentor, AB Market Otomasyon
Observation:
The students demonstrated a solid understanding of ladder logic programming and were quick to adapt to proprietary control systems used in real industry settings.
Highlights:
- 2 students contributed directly to modifying existing automation sequences.
- 1 student took initiative in debugging an HMI connection issue.
- All interns successfully interfaced sensors and actuators during live testing sessions.
General Evaluation:
The mentors praised the group’s discipline, openness to feedback, and team collaboration. They noted that students were not just passive observers, but active contributors.
General Evaluation
The company appreciated how quickly students adjusted to the pace and precision of commercial CNC work, adding that they would be open to hosting future interns from our school.
Lasting Industry Relationships
Both AB Market Otomasyon and Istanbul Reklam Ürünleri have expressed interest in continuing collaboration with our school. The mentors remarked that the Erasmus+ framework provided not just student growth, but also an opportunity for companies to invest in future talent — particularly from outside their local labor pool.
“We see this kind of program as part of our responsibility to help shape Europe’s technical workforce. Your students made a great impression.”
— Company Director, Istanbul Reklam
